Everyone has jobs that they hate but I'm a firm believer in the whole "if you don't like something, change it and if you can't then make the best of it" So if I were you, I would quit and find another second job that doesn't make me want to go bang my head against the wall everyday. I'm sure there's something else out there that won't make you feel as horrible as this job does. But I guess the smart thing to do would be to start applying everywhere you can and keep this job until you find something. Good luck with you're decision.

Yes quit that awful job and try to get a few more hours on your other one. Or flip burgers. Some people are ok with doing telemarketing but you are not one of them and you will hate yourself.
If your kids were starving and you were living in a car then I'd say keep it, but you are not in such dire straits.

I would quit my job if I had to do something unethical. I would give my notice tomorrow. There is so much other stuff to do, and still be able to look at yourself in the mirror. I wouldn't want to even handle the money that comes from the paycheck from that job.

It sounds like your company is stealing. Even if it is technically legal, they are still taking something from somebody, such as money, for a service they can not use.

If you are religious, thou shall not steal is something that we will be held accountable for.

If you aren't religious, you still might have a feeling in your bones that it isn't right.

Go with that feeling.

When you are ready to ship something, you manually fill-in a UPS or FedEx shipping form OR you write the buyer's address using a large-point felt-tip pen on the box.

Yes, you wont sell much w/o a reputation.

Buy some real cheap things that you need.
It will cost you at first, but its worth the investment to get some good feedback.
Then people will trust you to bid higher on your items.

I think I had over 100 before I even sold anything. I always did well selling
Its a REAL hassle tho. People try to cheat you all the time. Make sure you send things w/ a delivery receipt

What are you talking about? It'd really help if you told us. Anyway, you can buy cheap things from China some times as low as $4. Be careful, because many people have done this only to scam people on a string of high end auctions so buyers may be skeptical.
Be sure to take pictures, lots of them from different angles and such.

Too many code to rewrite it in this answer. I can only suggest to replace:

1. 'declare -i mainSelection' with 'my $mainSelection'

2. 'case' can be replaced with construction like:

if($mainSelection eq '1')
{
systemMenu;
setSystemInput;
systemCase;
}
elsif($mainSelection eq '2')
{
adminMenu;
setAdminInput;
adminCase;
}
elsif($mainSelection eq '3')
{
editingMenu;
setEditInput;
editCase;
}
elsif($mainSelection eq '4')
{
networkMenu;
setNetworkInput;
networkCase;
}
else
{
exit;
}

3. System commands like who;; ps | more;;, etc can be replaced with

`who`
`ps | more`
